Cities in Ruin Expansion for Eldritch Horror Announced

May 16th, 2017

In the Cities in Ruin expansion for Eldritch Horror, Shudde M’ell, the progenitor of the dreaded chthonians, tosses and turns with the cycle of its dreams. Mankind’s fragile existence is threatened as this otherwordly being comes closer to waking than ever before. Cities fall and storms rage all over the globe as Shudde M’ell thrashes beneath the planet’s surface. Can a few brave investigators scattered across the globe truly hope to stand between this horrifying monstrosity and the utter devastation that heralds its coming?

There had been so many signs. Why had none of them listened? You had tried to warn them that the prison of G’harne was failing in Africa. The media, the police, even the revered professors at Miskatonic University, all of them had treated you like some raving lunatic and thrown you out into the street. Even now, with acrid smoke and the stink of death thick in the air, no one actually looked back at the coiled horrors writhing amongst the city’s ruins. None of them wanted to believe that this level of devastation could be visited upon the world by forces so poorly understood by the minds of man.

Someone must face these horrors and try to drive them back. Someone has to try to keep Shudde M’ell from waking. No one had listened, and now you grimly march into the ruins of the city you tried to save, determined to find some clue to sealing away the ancient creature once and for all.

Cthulhu: Strange Aeons RPG on Kickstarter

November 3rd, 2014

Paradigm Concepts has launched their Kickstarter campaign for Cthulhu: Strange Aeons the RPG

Cthulhu: Strange Aeons takes the tropes of Lovecraftian horror and transplants them into a hard, gritty science fiction setting. The two initial books, the Investigator’s Guide and the Keeper’s Guide, define the setting and include everything you need to advance your Call of Cthulhu game into the far future. Subsequent books will explore the horrors of new worlds and the dark places between the stars.

Cthulhu: Strange Aeons is fully licensed from Chaosium and is based on the 7th Edition of the Call of Cthulhu game system. Call of Cthulhu is a trademark of Chaosium Inc. and is used with permission.

RAFM Announces upcoming Call of Cthulhu Miniatures Kickstarter

January 21st, 2014

Are you a Cthulhu fan? RAFM will be launching a new Call of Cthulhu Miniatures Kickstarter campaign tommorow.

Silver Fox Productions Inc. will launch their new fundraising program for RAFM Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition on Kickstarter on January 22, 2014. This program will be open to supporters until Febuary 11, 2013. So find us on Kickstarter and support our new miniatures.

RAFM Call of Cthulhu Miniatures line provides gamers with pieces to bring life to Chaosium’s classic roleplaying game of Lovecraftian horror, in which ordinary people are confronted by the terrifying and alien forces of the Cthulhu Mythos. RAFM Call of Cthulhu Miniatures are hand sculpted 32mm white metal miniatures which can be painted or used to represent characters and monsters during game play. This bestselling line has won many game-industry awards and supports the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Chaosium ruleset.

The goal of this projet is to continue to build on the new edition of the RAFM Call of Cthulhu Miniatures which was started in the summer of 2013 and shipped to our supporters in December. The vision of the Kickstarter is to create miniatures from classic Chaosium modules including Masks of Nyarlathotep, Fungi from Yuggoth and House of R’lyeh. As new stretch goals are opened up, more modules and models may be added.

RAFM Company Inc, began producing rules and then miniatures for the gaming industry in 1979. RAFM Call of Cthulhu miniatures has probably been our most successful line. Envisioned and sculpted by Bob Murch for the Call of Cthulhu RPG by Chaosium Inc. the figures have transcended the industry and been reissued by many companies. None compare with the lasting tradition of the line. All miniatures are produced for Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu Role-playing Game and continue to be an official licensed product for the Call of Cthulhu Role-playing Game TM Seventh Edition.
