Ghosts of Dathomir, an all-new adventure for the Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game, is available now from Fantasy Flight Games.
With the Jedi Order abolished and the Jedi all but extinct, now is a dangerous time to be a Force user. Seeking the remnants of Jedi teachings and chasing the whispers of artifacts while avoiding Imperial persecution would be difficult enough, but young Force adepts have to contend with the temptation of the dark side. Ghosts of Dathomirplaces you on the hunt for a statue rumored to have ties to the Force, ties so powerful that its discovery could lead you to a greater understanding of the Force… or to your annihilation.
The statue is called Tragic Hope, and it has popped up for auction on the Hutt-controlled world of Toydaria; of course, your party are not the only people interested in the artifact. A ruthless mercenary named Jerserra has left a trail of bodies throughout the Mid and Outer Rim territories as she builds up her crime network, and she seeks the statue with a fervor that suggests something personal is at stake. The Empire has their eyes on Jerserra, and Hutt spies are everywhere across Toydaria. Can you navigate the criminal underworld and escape unscathed to discover what ties this statue to the Force and learn how the dread world of Dathomir is involved?

Rumors of a legendary artifact with ties to the Force have brought you to Toydaria in Ghosts of Dathomir, an adventure module coming soon to the Star Wars™: Force and Destiny™. The artifact, a statue named Tragic Hope, was in the hands of exotic item dealer Walisi before they both went missing. Before you can get to the bottom of the mystery on the dread planet of Dathomir, you will have to dodge Imperial forces, avoid the wrath of the Force-wielding mercenary Jerserra, and deal with the Gorensla Hutt kajidic.
Walisi’s ties to the Gorensla kajidic are not unusual—the Hutts dominate much of the Mid and Outer Rims, Toydaria included—but the income of a dealer as established as Walisi makes him a key asset, and the Hutts want him back. As Tragic Hope neared its auction date, and the mysterious disappearance, Walisi had been playing up its potential ties to the Clone Wars and the Force to drum up interest (and credits), leaving you with plenty of potential suspects to investigate—provided you can tread carefully enough to avoid wasting away in a Hutt dungeon.
Ghosts of Dathomir casts you deep into the criminal underworld searching for a Force artifact and a Hutt asset; you could build alliances with powerful crime bosses or create lifelong enemies on your hunt for Tragic Hope and Walisi. Today’s preview offers a quick look at the Gorensla Hutt kajidic to keep you from entering Toydarian space completely unprepared.

Track a legendary artifact, avoid Imperial entanglements and Hutt involvement, and pursue a powerful Force-wielding mercenary with a personal stake in the artifact in Ghosts of Dathomir, an upcoming adventure module for Star Wars™: Force and Destiny.
A mysterious statue called Tragic Hope has arrived in the hands of a Toydarian exotic item dealer, leaving bodies in its wake. The statue and its dealer, Walisi, have gone missing, and you and your party won’t be alone in tracking him down…
Walisi has ties to the Gorensia Hutt kajidic, who want him back, and your search for the statue will likely draw the attention of the Hutts. Jerserra, a ruthless and powerful criminal leader, is also seeking Tragic Hope and the shard it holds aloft—could she be responsible for the trail of corpses it leaves behind? Were that not enough, the Empire has dispatched the ISB in pursuit of Jerserra despite knowing little about the lightsaber-wielding mercenary. It’s a triple threat that will take you from the relative security of the Hutt-controlled Toydaria to one of the most deadly and mysterious planets in the Outer Rim: Dathomir. The rewards, however, could be well more than you can imagine: control of an artifact with ties to the Force. With rumors linking it to powerful Force users in the Clone Wars, the statue has drawn the attention of the power hungry and those who wish to stop them. Which are you?
Ghosts of Dathomir brings the dread world of Dathomir and its legacy of unconventional Force users into your campaign. Today’s preview offers a glimpse of the darkness that awaits you as you chase Tragic Hope to the haunted lands of Dathomir, where fear may very well devour you alive.
