DreadBall Second Edition – the fast-paced, futuristic sports game – is available to pre-order now from Mantic, ahead of its retail release on March 19th.
The Second Edition introduces new teams, re-balanced stats and streamlines the rules to make it more action-packed than ever.
For those who are just starting their DreadBall career, the new Boxed Game provides the perfect entry point. Choose from the agile Ninth Moon Tree Sharks or the unstoppable Draconis All-Stars before taking to the pitch and going for glory. Outwit your rival coach with tactical set pieces, push your luck with daring plays, or just smash your opponent to the ground with brutal tackles. When the game begins, anything goes…
The boxed game comes with 29 miniatures (including two teams with 12 players each), a double-sided game board and rulebook to get you started in the game. What’s more, those who pre-order the game from the Mantic website before March 19th will receive a free, limited edition Blaine MVP! After March 19th, Blaine will become a show exclusive miniature.
Also available to pre-order now is the DreadBall Second Edition Collector’s Rulebook. This mighty 210-page tome is perfect for the experienced DreadBall player, as it contains rules for all the existing DreadBall teams, along with rules for giants, leagues and more. This will be a limited print run, so once it’s gone, it’s gone!
Talking of existing players, if you fancy picking up two brand new teams, then look no further than the Matsudo Tectonics and the New Eden Revenants. The Tectonics are a team of honourable space lizards that might play by the rules but don’t mind getting stuck in when it counts. Meanwhile the New Eden Revenants are a collection of famous DreadBall players brought back from the dead. They may be slow but they’re hard to stop!
Finally, if you want to add a little random fun to your games, then the DreadBall Event Deck is the perfect option. This set includes 26 Event Cards that trigger a range of wild events, like exploding balls, malfunctioning machinery and rioting fans. Mix these into the standard DreadBall deck and no two games will ever play the same! Plus, the Event Deck comes with the special resin Elmer & Dobbs card stand. Slot the current Event Card behind the commentators to make sure you’ll never miss any special effects.
All these products are available to pre-order now from the Mantic website or your local game store. They are due to launch on March 19th.

This week Mantic have a massive raft of new releases, from the far future of Warpath to the gritty present of The Walking Dead: All Out War. Here are some of the highlights!
Both the Forge Fathers and Enforcers receive reinforcements this month with new units and weapons being brought into the fold, including the Enforcer Heavy Support Team and the Forge Father Weapons Platform Formation.
The most exciting things though are the new Reserve Forces and Mega Forces. Each of these comes with a load of specialist troopers and units to bolster any existing force or even start a new one. On top of that, each comes with one of the brand new Hard Plastic vehicles – either an Enforcer Flyer or a Forge Father Tank – long before they will be widely available!
Following on from the launch bundles, we’ve started to release the single boosters for The Walking Dead: All Out War Wave Two.
These include the Miles Behind Us narrative expansion and the Negan, Tyreese and Glenn Boosters (yes, Glenn is finally here!). You can pre-order these from the webstore, or from any of Mantics retail partners.

Mantic are pleased to unveil Dale’s RV – a new laser-cut MDF kit that’s the perfect size for games of All Out War.
The RV was one of the new product suggestions received from the community, so it’s great to see it come to life. It’s available to order from your local game store or you can pre-order from the Mantic website.
Along with the 3D Scenery Booster, Dale’s RV will be a great addition to your gaming boards and will really help to add a touch of realism. Unlike the Scenery Booster, however, this kit is made from laser-cut MDF so some assembly will be required. But there are clear instructions included with the kit and we’ll be producing an assembly video to offer some guidance too.
Although there are other RVs on the market, this is the only official Walking Dead-themed kit that’s the perfect size for the game (in fact it’s the same size as the cardboard template included with the Days Gone Bye expansion) and is identical to the version that appears in the comics.
Dale’s RV is available to pre-order now is due for release later this month.

Mantic has posted new details on The Walking Dead: All Out War Miniatures Game. The game is a tactical head-to-head set in the walker-strewn Georgia countryside where everyone and everything is trying to kill you.
In The Walking Dead: All Out War, each player controls their own group of survivors made up of popular characters from The Walking Dead storyline, such as Rick, Shane, Michonne and many more.
Each of these survivors is represented by a finely detailed plastic miniature that can be painted in your colour scheme of choice. It also comes with a character card highlighting their game stats and unique abilities, which can be upgraded with a selection of weapons and equipment.
The game is played in and around Atlanta and the surrounding American suburbs, and contains a gaming mat and a selection of barricades, abandoned cars and supplies to give it that authentic The Walking Dead atmosphere.
Your survivors move across the board using the measuring stick included with the game, and you’ll use the terrain to block Walker routes and sneak up on opposing survivors, or raid enemy camps for supplies.
During the game, you will fight a bitter battle for resources against a rival group of survivors – but be careful not to make too much noise, as you’ll draw the attention of the Walkers who roam the streets and fields.
The Walkers are controlled by an AI system developed specifically for this game, and also means that you can play the game solo.
Enemies are all around you, and danger lurks around every corner.
In this game, YOU are the Walking Dead.
