The Desert Rats are the only thing standing in the way of Axis conquest of North Africa. Despite suffering repeated defeats at the hands of Rommel’s Afrika Korps, they remain undaunted. Their speedy Crusader and Honey tanks can run circles around their opposition, backed up by the heavier Grant squadrons. Their motorised infantry are equally adept in attack or defence. With support from the Royal Artillery and the Desert Air Force, they are a formidable and versatile force.
The German Afrika Korps is a hard-fighting force of tough veteran troops who have won many battles and expect to win many more. Their Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks outclass the British tanks they face, and have been steadily upgraded to maintain their edge over the opposition. Their infantry are organised to have ‘few men, many weapons’, so they pack a ferocious punch whether facing infantry or tanks. These are backed by the famous ‘88? dual-purpose anti-tank/anti-aircraft gun and the Stuka dive bomber.

Acheson Creations are pleased to announce the release of the Megatherium (Giant Sloth) in their 28mm Primaeval Designs Prehistoric Animal range for $15.00.
Sculpted by Richard Deasey. Painted display by Evil Bob’s Miniature Painting.
Megatherium, from the Greek mega (“great”) and therion (“beast”) was a genus of elephant-sized ground sloths endemic to South America. Often called the giant ground sloth, megatheriums were believed to have lived from the Early Pliocene through the end of the Pleistocene. The giant sloth’s size was exceeded by only a few other land mammals, including mammoths and Paraceratherium.

Brigade Models have released more reinforcements for their 6mm Hammer’s Slammers forces.
There are uparmoured versions of the M2A4UA tank and M9A7 combat car, plus new artillery support on the form of the M53 20cm Artillery Hog.
The new tanks have extra armour plating pretty over the entire hull and turret, while the combat cars also have additional hull armour, plus extra plating that fits over the existing mesh splinter shield.
The M53 Hogs are enormous vehicles, as big as a blower tank and with a turret that wouldn’t look out of place on a naval destroyer ! The M53 can empty its six-round ready magazine in just 15 seconds and the ammunition options include nuclear, nerve agents and cluster rounds as well as the usual array of conventional munitions.
The models are all available singly, or we have new army and detachment packs that replicate the existing organisations but with the uparmoured vehicles instead. There’s also a new artillery pack with hogs, mortar jeeps and command and observer vehicles.

CMON Limited is proud to announce its exciting new project A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game based on the beloved novels by George R.R. Martin in cooperation with Dark Sword Miniatures, Inc. Heading to Kickstarter in Q3 of 2017 and retail stores in 2018, this new miniatures wargame allows fans to enter the world of the novels and control units of troops and heroes with easy to pick-up rules and fast-paced, brutal gameplay.
Since the A Song of Ice and Fire series was first published in 1996, fans from around the world have fallen in love with the amazing lands of Westeros and Essos and the iconic characters that inhabit them. CMON’s new tabletop miniatures game brings the conflicts set in those lands and the beloved characters to life with gorgeous, pre-assembled miniatures that make picking up and playing the game a breeze right out of the box. Gameplay is strategic yet easy to learn, meaning players will get to the battles as quickly as possible.
Jim Ludwig, Founder and President of Dark Sword Miniatures, Inc., commented on the partnership leading to the creation of the game: “I have been a big fan of what CMON has done in the tabletop miniatures space since 2004. Their expertise in plastic miniature production and their extensive body of work with both board games and tabletop miniatures games, that not only look amazing but are actually fun to play, made it an easy choice on who to collaborate with on this project.”
CMON’s Founder and President, David Doust, explains, “CMON’s relationship with Dark Sword dates back over a decade, and we have contemplated a more serious collaboration for a very long time. This project allows us to dig deep into George R.R. Martin’s mind and recreate the iconic battles from his award-winning novels on the tabletop.”
The A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game lets players take control of their favorite Houses from the novels, represented by trays of high-quality, pre-assembled miniatures, and lead them into battle against their opponents. Players can recreate their favorite moments from the series or create their own stories. What if the Red Wedding never happened, and Robb Stark assaulted King’s Landing? Now fans can find out!
Battles can range from large-scale wars with hundreds of miniatures, to simple skirmishes between a few units without complicating the elegantly designed rules. The game features several unique systems, including alternating activations that keep the players engaged; a Rank System that changes a unit’s capabilities as the battle rages on; a Tactics System that provides strategic powers fueled by a finite resource each round; and, most importantly, the iconic Heroes, such as Robb Stark and Jaime Lannister, that can change the course of war both on and off the battlefield.
CMON is excited to reveal the game during the GAMA Trade Show 2017 and will have even more information before the launch of the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game: Stark vs Lannister Starter Set on Kickstarter later in 2017, with a healthy lineup of regular retail releases and support to follow.

In the Star Wars galaxy, seemingly minor events can alter the fates of countless worlds. A Tatooine moisture farmer purchases a pair of droids. A freighter pilot learns that his YT-1300’s negative power coupling needs to be replaced. A hungry Wookiee reaches for a dead animal skewered on a wooden stake…
Who would have expected the moisture farmer’s nephew would become a powerful Jedi? Or that the repairs to Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon would draw the attentions of an infamous bounty hunter, a crime lord, and even the Dark Lord of the Sith? What would have happened to the Rebellion if Chewie and his Rebel allies hadn’t befriended the Ewoks on Endor?
The Star Wars galaxy is full of these little twists of fate. The Galactic Civil War was shaped by them. And you’ll soon have your chance to pursue more of these twists in your games of X-Wing.
With its trio of ships, Wave XI follows these twists toward a host of explosive new possibilities—all nestled comfortably within the game’s existing mechanics. High-tech bombers. Fighters capable of filling highly specialized roles. Double-slotted upgrades. Unlimited ordnance. And a wealth of abilities that encourage dynamic and interactive new ways to fly!

When the battles of Star Wars™: Armada start getting heated, shields begin to fail, and hulls creak and groan under the strain of repeated battering. It’s at times like these that a fleet admiral’s cunning may prove the difference between victory and a resounding defeat…
Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce the sixth wave of Armada expansions!
Light on ships, but heavy on new ideas, Armada Wave VI features two expansions—the Imperial Light Carrier Expansion Pack and the Hammerhead Corvettes Expansion Pack. Inspired by Star Wars Rebels and Rogue One, the expansions give us three new ships—one Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier and two Hammerhead corvettes. While these are solid ships, they are by no means the biggest and baddest battleships you’ll find in the Star Wars galaxy, but if you overlook the threats they pose? You do so at your peril.

Terra-Block:Exotic Locations is a set of 28mm tabletop wargames terrain inspired by the movie industry.
The Locations are Rick’s Cafe, The Museum of Antiquities, The Ancient Souk and Riad El Hasam.
Rick’s Cafe is the ‘core location’, you need the pieces from this to complete the other locations, so for example The Museum of Antiquities contains the pieces that you need to add to Rick’s Cafe to transform it into the Museum.
For each location we have developed ‘Set Dressings’. These kits provide the pieces to furnish the Sets, so for example the Set Dressings for Rick’s Cafe includes the tables and chairs, heart shaped bar etc. and the Set Dressings for the Ancient Souk contains the market stalls, packing cases, hand cart etc.
To finish off the range we have ‘Props’. Props are the detailed resin and metal castings that bring the tabletop world to life. The props for the museum include a wide range of exhibits, designed to fit into the display cases from the museum’s set dressing kit. The exhibits include an Egyptian sarcophagus, urns, books, statues and many other items. Props for the souk (or marketplace) include fruit, vegetables, spices and pulses to fit the tables and stalls in the Souk set dressings kit and the Riad Props set consists of cushions and an old fashioned colonial style fan. The final set is titles ‘Exotic-Location Props’, these are cast in pewter and contains 31 separate pieces including telephones, lamps, place settings, tagines and a mantelpiece clock that can be used to finish off Rick’s Cafe or any of the other locations.
