Steve Jackson Games and Games Workshop announce the biggest, back-stabbiest, most loot-filled heavy-weapons bonanza of the year: Munchkin Warhammer 40,000, coming in 2019 to a game store near you!
Since the original Munchkin card game hit the market in 2001, the Munchkin brand has sold over 9 million games and accessories worldwide. Warhammer 40,000, now in its eighth edition, is one of the longest-lasting classic games of miniatures combat. Now these two popular games are merging into a storm of carnage and weirdness guaranteed to satisfy armies of gamers.
As with all Munchkin games, Munchkin Warhammer 40,000 will combine easily with the rest of the extensive Munchkin line, including Munchkin Zombies, Star Munchkin, and Munchkin itself.
Munchkin Warhammer 40,000 is illustrated by principal Munchkin artist (and extreme Warhammer fanboy) John Kovalic, and designed by Munchkin Line Editor Andrew Hackard, in consultation with Games Workshop.
“I have never seen a game store without a Warhammer 40,000 section,” said Hackard. “It’s a pleasure to get to play around in a setting that has such a rich history and so many dedicated fans around the world!”
Munchkin Warhammer 40,000 will launch in 2019 in premiere Deluxe format ($29.95), followed by two 112-card expansions ($19.95) later the same year. That’s almost 400 cards of explosive Munchkin Warhammer fun!

CMON Limited announced that they have teamed with Steve Jackson Games to design and publish Munchkin Dungeon based on the award-winning card game.
Munchkin Dungeon captures the same playful sense of humor of the original card game, while providing a completely new experience. It is the first collaboration between designers Eric M. Lang (Blood Rage, Rising Sun, Arcadia Quest) and Andrea Chiarvesio (Richard the Lionheart, Kingsburg, Hyperborea).
In the game, 3-6 players will enter a dungeon and attempt to collect the most treasure and achieve the highest character level. They will have to push their luck if they want to be successful in their adventure, but if they come across a foe that’s a little too big to face, they can always run away. If players choose to take the cowardly (albeit occasionally logical) route of avoiding danger, they will earn Shame which will be counted against them at the end of the game. You can’t be a hero without exhibiting a little bravery!
Munchkin Dungeon comes to life on the tabletop with highly-detailed miniature figures and illustrations by legendary artist Jon Kovalic. Fans of the Munchkin series of games will feel right at home with the whimsical art that Kovalic is famous for, and players old and new will have hours of fun exploring dungeons, fighting monsters, and betraying their closest friends!
Munchkin Dungeon is coming to Kickstarter in 2019. Stay tuned for updates on the CMON Facebook page as the campaign approaches.

Triplanetary depicts ship-to-ship space combat in the Solar System using a vector movement system. It was designed by Marc “Traveller” Miller and first released in 1973. A second edition was released in 1981, but it’s been out of print since then.
Now, this long-lost game returns with a larger map and 5/8” counters! The new edition contains an alternative combat system for those who like more detailed space warfare, but the original rules are included and play just as well as they did in 1973.
Triplanetary is fun to play solo, and has scenarios for two, three, and four+ players. The quick, intuitive movement and combat rules are unchanged. All the scenarios from both editions have been collected, and new campaign rules added. This edition is lightly edited by Steve Jackson, who has been a Triplanetary fan since his college days.

Munchkin® To Be Adapted to Digital Platforms For the First Time in History by Asmodee Digital and Steve Jackson Games
Oct 29, 2017
Asmodee Digital, a leader in digital board game entertainment announced that the multi-million selling dungeon adventure card game, Munchkin, created and published by Steve Jackson Games Incorporated, will be reimagined for digital platforms, under license. The upcoming digital adaptation will put everything players love about Munchkin at their fingertips in the next year.
Designed by Steve Jackson and illustrated by John Kovalic, Munchkin is the mega-hit card game about dungeon adventure… minus all that pesky roleplaying business. Friends compete to kill monsters and grab hilarious magic items, like the Horny Helmet, Boots of Butt-Kicking, Staff of Napalm, and Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. While their opponents are busy giggling, players are free to backstab friends, steal their stuff, grab the treasure and run!
Without the standard, long-winded RPG elements, Munchkin is not only fun and fast paced, it’s easily one of the most accessible games of its genre.
“We are thrilled to partner with Asmodee Digital for the first adaptation of Munchkin to digital platforms. Munchkin has become an evergreen game over the years and we believe the time has come to offer fans around the world a truly innovative experience,” says Phil Reed, CEO of Steve Jackson Games.
