Lords and Servants Skirmish rules released

December 6th, 2014

Dadi & Piombo has released Lords & Servants, their new skirmish set for the medieval period from the creators of Impetus.

L&S is a skirmish set that allows you to play games with few figures, but also engagements with 70-80 miniatures per side (you can choose among 3 formats: Small, Medium and Large).
It covers from the Dark Age to the end of XV Century (but they include rules for artillery).

The rules are based on Smooth&Rifled system but with more enphasis on melee. Miniatures can act both as single figures and in groups.
A points system allows you to create and customize your force. The set includes lists to play the Feudal age, Mongols and Wars of the Roses. Lists of course can be used as a guide to develop other forces.
Anyway more free official supplements with lists will follow.

The set is available as a pdf through Wargames Vault and in around 1 week also from Dadi&Piombo website. In both cases you will get for free future digital versions of the rules.
