Brave adventurer, Free League Publishing announced that the Forbidden Lands RPG has released worldwide on the 6th of December 2018. All rogues, raiders, treasure hunters and scoundrels may now enter the land beyond the mountains.
The Forbidden Lands RPG is a retro-fantasy game and a brand-new take on classic tabletop roleplaying.
My dear friend, have you heard that the curse is gone and that the Blood Mist has lifted? Forbidden Lands can now finally be reached. Do you dare to travel into the unknown lands with me?
Just imagine, it is an unexplored realm filled with treasures left behind… A magical journey into the unknown awaits us. Will you join me in the hunt for ancient treasures and fight whomsoever gets in our way? Let us leave this wretched reality and build a new world for ourselves on the ruins of the old. What say thee, do you want to be one of the first raiders of the Forbidden Lands?
If it will be dangerous? Of course, but what does it matter, friend? Together we laugh in the face of danger and make our mark on that cursed world. Together, we will survive long enough to tell the tale. But we must hurry, before the others take it all…
In the sandbox survival roleplaying game Forbidden Lands, you and your friends will be playing raiders and rogues bent on making your own mark on a cursed world. Discover lost tombs, fight horrifying monsters, wander the wilderness and build your own stronghold to defend.

The Elephant and Macaw Banner has sealed its second major licensing deal in two months, this time with Porcupine Publishing, a publisher of RPG books based in Hong Kong.
The Elephant and Macaw Banner began as a series of fantasy stories set in colonial Brazil. The stories have received nominations for the Nebula Award and other international awards. The Elephant & Macaw Banner RPG was released in Brazil in late 2017 and was an instant success, selling out its initial print run in just three months.
Christopher Kastensmidt, author of the series, says:
“It is an honour to be able to work with Porcupine, a company that, in a few years of existence, has already published a number of daring and important works in its field. They contacted me very enthusiastically to offer The Elephant & Macaw Banner system to the international market. Porcupine believes in the project, which for me makes this partnership very enjoyable. “
Thomas McGrenery, founder of Porcupine and winner of the Ennie Award for Best Podcast for “Fear of a Black Dragon”, writes:
“Making the English edition of The Elephant & Macaw Banner RPG is a very exciting project. Like the stories that inspired it, the roleplaying game offers adventure and wonder, exploring a vibrant natural environment, a unique meeting of historical cultures and a rich tapestry of folklore, all of which deserve to be better known in the English-speaking world. It’s a real privilege to present in English the outstanding work that created the original Brazilian edition. “

Kids on Bikes is a Collaborative Storytelling RPG set in small towns with big adventure and it is now available from Renegade Game Studios!
The door to the old house creaks open, the rust on the hinges groaning as you see the dust floating like spores in the air inside. By the faint light of your cheap flashlights, you see the stairs to the upper floor, its railings gnarled and broken like crooked teeth. Their curve makes the stairs seem almost like a hungry grin, and you wonder if their age will support your weight. Still, you must go in.
The only question is who will go first?
In Kids on Bikes, you’ll take on the roles of everyday people grappling with strange, terrifying, and very, very powerful forces that they cannot defeat, control, or even fully understand. The only way to face them is to work together, use your strengths, and know when you just have to run as fast as you can.
