AEG has announced a “That 70’s” Expansion for their hit card game, Smash Up will be available in March!

Can you dig it? We’ve put Smash Up into the not-so-wayback machine and set the controls for “GROOVY!”

That 70s Expansion celebrates all the greatest pop-culture memories from the Age of Aquarius! Put on your mood rings, bust out your leisure suits, spin that disco ball and put the pedal to the metal good buddy! The streets are mean, there’s a bear in the air, but the music is fantastic and everyone is Kung Fu Fighting!

Smash Up: Cease and Desist available now

September 3rd, 2016

AEG has released the newest Smash Up set, Cease and Desist!

The four new groups in this set are the Astroknights, the Star Roamers, Changerbots, and Ignobles.

Each group gives you new Minions and Actions with which you can take over bases;

Astroknights Use the power of the Fours to defeat your enemies. Beware traps. Shoot first.

Star Roamers move about space, teleporting your minions from one quadrant to another.  They are on a multi-year mission to seek out new fun, explore strange new combos and put ridiculous numbers of redshirts in mortal danger.

Changerbots are able to trans-morph from one object to another, gaining different bonuses in each form. They’re in disguise. And they’re robots. And possibly small electrical appliances. But whatever – they’re IN DISGUISE!

Meanwhile, The Ignobles fight over the king’s seat, but don’t trust any of them! They pay their debts, and wait for winter (seriously, we hope winter hurries up already). And when you least expect it – RANDOM DRAGONS! Because everything is better with dragons.

You can pick up your copy now from AEG!

Smash Up!, the digital version, coming soon

July 20th, 2016

Smash Up, designed by Paul Peterson, is an award winning Shufflebuilding game from Alderac Entertainment Group. In Smash Up players choose two factions, such as pirates, ninja, robots, zombies, and more, and shuffle them together to form one formidable force to combat enemy bases and lead to world domination!

AEG are pleased to announce that Nomad Games will be bringing the shufflebuilding game of total awesomeness to PC, iOS and Android this Autumn 2016!

Up to four players will be able to take control of a vast array of crazy characters, from Superheroes to Monsters and Villains, and play against the AI or together with friends online or at home with pass-to-play.

Smash Up – It’s All Your Fault

April 27th, 2015

Hey Smash Up fans!  You’ve often asked for specific factions to be included in the game, and AEG have been listening.  But given how many you offer how can they possibly get them all in?  Well, they’re going to let you help decide! The spring 2016 set will be “Smash Up: It’s Your Fault.”

You will help by nominating factions until May 11, then we will take the top 32 into a deathmatch bloodbath (also known as bracket voting eliminations), until we’re down the final four who will be in the expansion.  It’s totally going to be your fault if it’s a bad set, so… don’t screw this up!

For now, you can openly submit any ideas you have. One idea per submission. We will NOT spam your email, but we will email you when the top 32 are chosen, as a reminder of each time you should come to vote during the eliminations.

Pretty Pretty Smash Up coming from AEG

November 12th, 2014

Think only pirates, time travelers, vampires, and bears can smash bases? Well get ready to be taught a lesson… in the nicest way possible!

Pretty Pretty Smash Up from AEG brings the sweetest factions ever to the vicious fight for victory! Kitty Cats use their incredible cuteness to take control of enemy minions. Princesses ply their royalty, beauty and even their love to get their way. Fairies’ fickle tricks give you options like never before, while the herds of Mythic Horses work together for dominance. Get ready: your opponents will never know what hit them!

Fairies – From deep in the magical glades come these little sprites, bringing magical wishes and pixie dust (but only in emergencies) to your plans for world domination. Don’t judge them by their size. The Fairies’ magic gives you great options in how to deal with your enemies.

Mythic Horses – The power of togetherness shows through in Horses, whose mighty herds race across the land, trampling any who stand in their way. Not only normal horses, but pegasi, sea-horses and more will join the fight for the base! Remember that friendship is… smashable!

Kitty Cats – Can haz base? Kitty Cats have the power to compel those of weak will to do what they wish… and the power to have billions of internet memes. Perhaps those are the key? Either way, the Kitty Cats will use their alluring power to dominate the fight at any base. Then head out for a night of jazzy music in the alleys!

Princesses – Dream a dream of ruling over your enemies! Princesses will make every wish come true through the power of pure love and happiness. Which can be used, oddly, to order everyone about, and even destroy your enemies. Don’t be fooled: these innocent-looking beauties are few in number, but royal, strong and determined!

Combine these groups into teams of two for various effects! Pretty Pretty Smash Up also contains 8 new Base cards to compete over.
